Topic :    alan of the old school days
  Thoughts :
I remember Alan from school days, even at primary school, and was looking forward to catching up at the Rangitoto School 50th Jubilee. We both had our love of running in common back then and Alan was such a friendly happy guy, that I can only remember him with a great big smile on his face. I was shocked to hear from his dear friend Brett Roche what had happened. I extend my deepest sympathies to Alans wife and family at this tragic loss of someone with such vitality.

Topic :    Wir werden Dich nie vergessen
  Thoughts :

Hi Al, I'm not very good at thoughts. However, from Abe Lincoln: "And in the end it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years."

Topic :    Farewell to a truly "Big Man"
  Thoughts :
Melanie & I have only just learned of Alan's passing. We have wonderful memories of the time that we worked together at Life Fitness. Alan played a major role in establishing a new division in a young, upstart company that went on to become the biggest player in the business. He was a great colleague and an even better friend. Our thoughts are with Bettina and Alan's family.
